Spending the very last bit of their school holiday...

Spending the very last bit of their school holiday painting a lighthouse to decorate one of the bathrooms…Sadly, the summer holiday is finally coming to an end and the kids will be going back to school. Here in the UK, the new academic year begins every September. Fatimah will be in Year 3 and Ali will be in Year 2.

They are both extremely excited to go back to school while I, as usual, am already feeling the blues. Not only emotional cos my 2 babies are growing really fast but also having to adjust to living in this new house without them running around making the house lively every second of the day. Now I’ll be back to counting the hours waiting for the kids to come back from school and make #TheOldForgeCottage 🏡 cheery again…
